Deputy Head of Energy and Environment Policy Research Center

levan pavlenishvilLevan Pavlenishvili is a graduate of International School of Economics at Tbilisi state University (ISET) with a specialization in energy economics and environmental resource management. He holds a BA in Economics from Tbilisi State University. Before joining the ISET MA program Levan worked as a tax consultant at the PricewaterhouseCoopers Tbilisi office. As a deputy head at the Energy and Environment Policy Research Center at ISET Policy Institute Levan focuses his research on energy and natural resources management policies and issues. Throughout his years at ISET-PI he participated to a number of projects including Regulatory Impact Assessments (RIAs), production of policy papers and briefs about Georgia's energy, natural resource regulation, industrial policy, etc. Levan's main research interests are: renewable energy, regulations in the power sector and energy security. In addition, Levan has more than 3 years of experience in teaching economics disciplines such as: International Trade and Finance, Econometrics and Natural Resource Economics.
